The Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) was founded in 1959 as a liberation movement, later becomming a political party. It was formed by Robert Sobukwe and a number of members who broke away from the ANC. Over the years the PAC has remained an active yet small party. In the 2004 elections, the party received 0.73% of the vote. (PAC media office)
