Patricia de Lille has been active in Parliament since 1994 and was a former member of the PAC. In 2003 she formed the ID and has led the party ever since. She is known for her role as a trade unionist during the apartheid era and, more recently, as the whistle-blower on the arms deal corruption scandal. (Roger Sedres, Rapport)
